Die MASCHALINA Schmuck Charity Muttertagsaktion

The MASCHALINA Jewellery Charity Mother's Day Campaign

At MASCHALINA, it is part of our company philosophy to support women. The company is run by an absolute power woman, designer Masha Lina Borodin, who is passionate about bringing women into leadership positions. In addition to our Mother's Day campaign, we have launched a new MASCHALINA charity campaign for this year's Mother's Day! Together with Stefanie Schauer, Managing Director of Offisy, we want to set an example and support women in emergency situations. In the Offisy Online Shop you will find "MASCHALINA Mom Bracelets" specially designed for Offisy, which are available in silver, gold and rose gold. The entire proceeds of the "Mom Bracelets" personalised for the company are then donated to the Linz Women's Shelter. The Linz Women's Shelter is a safe place to go to for affected women and children and offers protection and counselling for women in distress. In recent years, the number of acts of violence against women in Austria has risen continuously. Therefore, as a women-led company, it is all the more important for us to support the Linz Women's Shelter with our charity campaign in order to be able to offer those seeking help the protection they need. As a small thank you, you can give your mum a treat with our exclusive "Mom Bracelets" and do something good at the same time. With your purchase, you are not only supporting two companies that have been working for women's empowerment for years, but are also part of a wonderful charity campaign!

WHAT OTHER CHARITIES DOES MASCHALINA SUPPORT?

In 2012, power woman Masha Lina Borodin founded her own label MASCHALINA and made a name for herself with feather-light statement earrings and fair production. The use of durable materials and the guarantee that jewellery can be repaired free of charge even after years follows the principles of slow fashion. This in particular is still a rarity in the world of fashion jewellery. In addition to the sustainable component, the Viennese jewellery label also pursues a very conscious philosophy of social engagement. The unique pieces of jewellery are responsibly handmade in regional productions. In doing so, MASCHALINA supports social groups that have a hard time on the labour market. Around 25 people are currently producing the most beautiful designs from freshwater pearls, precious stones, Swarovski glass and precious metals in four manufactories in Vienna. In addition, MASCHALINA regularly organises charity events where you can shop for jewellery for a good cause. In December, for example, the company was able to donate €7,500 to the Linz Women's Shelter together with Offisy. At the end of March, the label set a sign for peace with jewellery by offering 16 pieces of jewellery in the colours of the Ukrainian flag at a reduced price. In the process, €1,000 was donated to the UNHCR refugee agency. The stars think it's cool too! Marie Nasemann, Cathy Hummels, Luisa Hartema, Claudia Effenberg and Frauke Ludwig have already worn beautiful jewellery by MASCHALINA. This in turn has even made waves in Hollywood. At the Oscar Gala 2019, Boris Becker's daughter Anna Ermakova wore a unique gemstone designed especially for her on the red carpet. US celebrities like Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford and Miss America Alissa Angeregg are also fans of the Austrian label.
