Female Jewelry Designer and Founder

At the age of just 17, Masha Lina Borodin began designing jewelry for friends - out of a desire to feel high-quality and special even without a large budget. This passion gave rise to MASCHALINA: a design brand for handmade jewelry with attitude and style.
Today every earring, every necklace and every bracelet is made in Viennese workshops. With appearances at Milan Fashion Week, collaborations with brands such as Chanel and prominent media coverage, MASCHALINA has established itself internationally as a love of detail from Vienna.
The career of Masha Lina Borodin
In 2014, Mascha Lina Borodin was engaged as part of the Chanel Métiers d'Art fashion show under Karl Lagerfeld. At Schloss Leopoldskron, she coordinates the backstage operations and organizes the Vogue photo shoot.
This is followed in 2015 by appearances at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, MQ Vienna Fashion Week and a highlight at Milan Fashion Week with her Swarovski and semi-precious stone creations. The collection will be published in Artistar Jewels by Vogue Accessory.
Female empowerment at MASCHALINA
Female empowerment is an integral part of MASCHALINA's DNA. As a female founder, Mascha is passionate about inspiring, encouraging and empowering women. Her designs emphasize the individual beauty of every woman - far away from norms and stereotypes.
MASCHALINA is involved in charity campaigns for organizations such as "Frauen beraten Frauen" and also lives empowerment in its own team: all positions are filled by women, fairly remunerated and creatively promoted.
